Siam Country Club Bangkok, located just 30 minutes south of Thailand's capital, is the fifth prestigious addition to the renowned Siam Country Club portfolio. Designed by Toby Cobb, this championship 18-hole course spans 7,250 yards and features Zoysia grass fairways and ultra-dwarf Bermuda grass greens. This layout marks Cobb's first solo project after working with golf design legends Coore & Crenshaw and Tom Doak.

Siam Country Club Bangkok stands out with its unique hybrid design—a sparsely treed parkland course set on a links site. The fairways are generously wide with gentle rolling slopes, and the elevated, super-large greens feature catchment areas and well-placed bunker complexes. The effective use of native red grass and mounding frames many holes, enhancing the course’s visual appeal. The semi-rough off the fairways is cut short, making play enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels.

The course is distinct from other Bangkok golf courses, with only four water holes coming into play. Numerous potted grass-faced bunkers are scattered throughout, small yet impactful. The 18 turtle-back greens, ranging from 425 to 1,000 sqm, present a tricky challenge. Proper club distancing and daily pin placements are crucial for accurate shots. Most golfers aim for the middle of the greens to avoid difficult runoffs and awkward chip shots.
