Green Valley Country Club is one the oldest courses on the way from Bangkok to Pattaya.  It is of only 2 Trent Jones Jr courses in Bangkok, the other being the prestigious Navatanee Golf Club. Bring close to the new Suvanabhumi International Airport. Green Valley is convenient for those Bangkok golfers who want to get in a round on their day of arrival or departure.

Some compare Green Valley to the likes of Thai Country Club, with just less opulence, because of the extreme challenge and well-kept course conditions. Very accurate drives are a must to score well as most of the fairways are defined by water hazards and have uneven lies. The greens are firm and fast, especially when putting down grain. Green Valley has many well placed lakes and bunkers which adds even further to the golf challenge.

The long opening holes along water are good examples of the golf course difficulty and what is to follow. The four par fives are all tough holes; the 11th and 18th particularly so, as water hazards line both sides of the fairway. The highlpar-3 14th hole is the signature hole. The island tee requires an accurate tee shot to hit the green and secure a sure par.

The clubhouse is elegant and luxurious. High ceilings, creative furnishings and modern decorations make it extremely relaxed. The clubhouse restaurant provides for nice views of the course and serves a good selection of Thai, European and Japanese cuisine. Other facilities such as a sauna with Jacuzzi and Thai massage offer nice options for relaxation after the game.

Green Valley is popular with locals and Asian expatriates, so advance booking is a must and slower play is to be expected especially on weekends.
